Resin impregnation increases the abrasive action of the disks and extends their life depending on the impregnation compound used in the process.  Each variety is marked with a different colour.

- Red: soft

- Orange: semi-rigid, elastic

- Blue: rigid, elastic

- Green: rigid elastic

- Yellow:  rigid, dry
