Made with sisal and sisal/cotton strips cut at 45°, this disk assures a slow and uniform consumption. The particular ventilation generated by the rotation simplifies the dispersion of heat on the surface that has to be shined; the quantity of cloth inserted increases or reduces such effect, proportionally increasing or reducing even the hardness or softness of the wheel. Of particular importance is stapling, that must assure an effective hold on the internal layer of the disk, the first to slip off in case of a non-correct blockage. Adding cotton increases the duration and the capacity of absorption of the abrasive paste. This is very diffused in the resined version.
